  • 3D Vegetable Alien3D Vegetable Alien
A very interesting rendition of an Alien using 3D Studio Max emulating the vegetable portraits of Giuseppe Arcimboldo. There's even a PDF available for download with more details about the project.

Excellent portfolio for this fine artist. Not much of an interface, but excellent Photoshop/Illustrator grunge look.
  • Thank You For SmokingThank You For Smoking
Title sequence for the "Thank You For Smoking" motion picture. It's a neat montage of numerour cigarrete label designs with people's names substituted for the brand.

Amazing portfolio site. Real good flash inspiration with out of this world flash transitions. I like the way he explains his projects using video as well.
  • M5M5
This site features excellent flash animation and is a showcase for some excellent short movie. I think the best part of the site is the making of section of the animated shorts...check it out.
  • Halo PicturesHalo Pictures
Nice little web site featuring a ton of illustrator's work. Lot's of storyboards. Subtle, but excellent flash work. Very nice indeed.

A magnificent example of what can be accomplished with XHTML, CSS, DHTML, JavaScript and a little elbow grease. This standards compliant site is truly beautiful to see.

A real different take on the portfolio website. Nice use of 3D and embedded video within flash. You gotta see this.

Cool flash site with an attitude. An excellent use of a bold color palette and a simple yet user friendly interface.
  • Daddy YankeeDaddy Yankee
Daddy is hot right now, winning many awards and taking the world by storm. His site is pretty cool too. I really like the menus, the handwriting introduction and the whole money concept.

This site let's you live the dream of creating your own superheros...sort of. Although someone has already drawn the artwork for you, it's still fun to dream about having superstrenght, speed or x-ray vision.
  • Target PetsTarget Pets
This site has a fun flash interface that allows you to choose a picture of pets (different types of cats or dogs) alongside products you can purchase for them. You can also send an e-card of fido to someone (your pet perhaps?). The types of pets you can choose from is limited, but it's a fun way to play around with pictures.
  • ShagShag
One of my favorite artists, knows how to use color for a retro feel that's distinct. He doesn't use black outlines on his art, which is harder than you think when trying to achieve the right kind of contrast.
