Wallpaper Shaitara
At Club Paris with the April 2007 Mega Chica. Inside photo shoots requires creating light instead of controlling it (like you do on an outside shoot). This shot used two lights, Digital Rebel with a 50mm prime lens.
Fit Club Gymnastics
A tableless CSS design using my own content management system and programming for a gymnastics and dance gym in Deland, Florida.
Alejandro Sans Flyer Campagign
A campaign with numbered flyers. The contestants must hold on to the flyers and listen on the radio or register online, then listen (or visit the site) for numbers announced daily. If their number comes up, they win two tickets to a major concert.
DJ Signing Cards
A series of cards designed for special events as autograph cards for the DJs. Took or directed the shoot for all of the photos.
College Blitz
A game I developed while at The Orlando Sentinel. I drew all of the artwork for the project as well as the programming for the game. Created using Flash, the game is based on space invaders, but allows you to play through the season of four of Florida's teams. It uses XML to load the data about who's playing so it can be updated easily every season.
Nascar Standings
An infographic which helps people figure out the standings for Nascar races. This Flash project uses an XML file to build itself. Therefore it can be updated easily for any subsequent races.
5th Anniversary Intro Video
A short piece that introduced the audience to our radio stations' 5th Anniversary Concert. It ran at the TD Waterhouse (now the Amway Arena) in Orlando. Did it using Apple's Motion program.(roughly 8Mb).
Witness to War
This SND (Society of News Designers) award winning project features photos taken by one of Orlando Sentinel's photographer who accompanied army personnel during the second Gulf War. The interface builds itself out of an XML file and
Streetball
My very first flash project for The Orlando Sentinel. Although not dynamic, I developed the scrolling navigation at the bottom for the first time for this project. The photos also rotate automatically every few seconds.
Football Depth Charts
These infographics were done as part of a special section from The Orlando Sentinel that had a "gaming" theme, therefore I used a "chess metaphor in the interface. The board and helmet were made with swift3d and the game built in flash. This is a good example of having to fit a lot of info in a tight space.
